Q: Where do I meet for Georgetown boat tours?
Start with the address above. Walk to the wooden docks on the Georgetown waterfront directly in front of the restaurants (View image). We will pick you up somewhere along that dock, typically toward the northern end (to your right when facing the river). You will have your captain’s cell phone number and s/he will call you when approaching the dock.
Q: Are there additional embarkation fees for boat tours from Georgetown, DC?
No. Georgetown is one of the DC destinations with no additional fee imposed by the dock or marina.
Q: Is this a logical place to start Potomac River boat tours?
Georgetown is absolutely perfect because it’s our northernmost pick up location. We can continue north a little, around Three Sisters Islands, and then cruise past all the monuments, and then select another drop-off destination, or return to Georgetown. It’s up to you!
