spaces:

Our larger vessel for private cruises is a 41-foot yacht, or “sedan bridge cruiser” with several social areas: Guests can gather upstairs on the open-air, shaded bridge level for elevated views alongside the captain. Alternatively, on the main level, guests are welcome either outside on the aft deck, or inside the climate-controlled salon. The salon features large wrap-around windows, providing the option of sightseeing in air-conditioned (or heated) comfort. At anchor or underway in no wake zones, guests are also welcome to relax on the bow sun loungers. There is a bedroom if you need to put the little one down for a nap.

BATHROOM:

There is a standing-height, private bathroom with locking door, a conventional toilet (called a “head” aboard, but remarkably similar to the one you have at home). This bathroom is indoors, a couple steps down from the salon and galley.

experience:

The bridge cruiser charter is intended to move at a leisurely pace with guests able to walk around (with a glass of bubbly in hand). Expect a relaxed and serene cruise (6–9 mph) with time to take in the views from any of the spaces described above. If absolutely necessary, we can accelerate (to ~30 mph) — but only after the champagne glasses have been stowed.

The vessel isn’t intended as a “Party Boat”. Our guests have fun, of course, but, well… the sound system lacks a subwoofer, there are no flashing LED lights, etc. This experience is tailored more toward professional groups, romantic couples, and families, and less ideal for bachelor parties.

the elements:

The indoor salon is air conditioned (or heated), allowing you to escape the elements if you need to. The bridge has a shade to protect against overhead sun, but it will be an open air experience upstairs. The lower, outside aft deck is usually protected from the wind and sun. The bow is fully exposed, ideal for soaking up the sun, when conditions permit.

Fridge/freezer + large cooler with ice.
Bluetooth/USB sound system; broadcast & streaming TV; DVD players, etc.
Inflatable floating loungers (weather permitting, with advanced request)
2–3 person kayak (with advanced request)
Bow cushions for sunbathing and padded bow seats.
Microwave oven; electric stovetop; Nespresso espresso machine; outdoor gas grill.

Rates, Minimums & Docks:

Due to increased cleaning and preparation time, lower vessel speed, and a reduced set of pick-up locations, the minimum cruise is 3 hours. Please email Captain Denny or call us to discuss rates and logistics.

Safety and other notes:

High heels must be removed prior to boarding.
Unfortunately, due to the presence of soft fabrics, pets are not permitted. However, they’re welcome on our open boats.
Guests who are non-swimmers are kindly asked to inform the captain for additional guidance on safety. Life jackets will be available, and are required for children un 13.
Smoking is strictly prohibited aboard the vessel at all times: underway, docked or on anchor.
Please advise us of any health conditions, mobility issues, or other concerns or questions, in advance of your cruise.
Please plan for a 10-minute safety orientation prior to departure. This will not reduce your total cruise time!
